1. Introduction and Overview
Simplex Technologies Inc. ("Simplex", "we", "us", or "our") provides a multi-tenant cloud messaging and notification platform. This Privacy Policy details how we collect, process, isolate, store, and safeguard data when you use the Simplex API, dashboard, web applications, and related developer tools (collectively, the "Service").
2. Multi-Tenant Architectural Data Isolation
Unlike shared-table notification services, Simplex employs a strict Dedicated Cloud Tenant Isolation model. This guarantees that:
- Your recipient records, message contents, and dispatch history reside exclusively in your dedicated, isolated tenant cloud partition.
- API keys are cryptographically hashed and strictly scoped to your tenant workspace boundary.
- SMTP and third-party provider credentials are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM encryption algorithms.
3. Information We Collect
We process information in two primary capacities:
A. Account & Operational Data (As Data Controller)
Name, email address, company name, billing info, and credentials provided when registering for an operator account.
B. Message Payload & Telemetry Data (As Data Processor)
Recipient addresses (email, phone number, chat IDs), message content, variable templates, and delivery receipt timestamps processed on your instructions.
4. Data Retention & Deletion
By default, message payloads in your tenant delivery queues are retained for 30 days for debugging and audit purposes, after which they are automatically purged according to your organization's data retention policy. Operators can trigger immediate data deletions at any time from the Workspace Dashboard.
5. GDPR and CCPA Compliance
Simplex complies with the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). Users have the right to request access, rectification, portability, and erasure of their personal data by contacting our Data Protection Officer.
